My Home
Is…Words
Home for me is peace when I feel serenity in my heart and soul. Giving me comfort and a place to learn and grow. Home is where the walls (pages) absorb the emotions and make way for clarity. Home is feeling safe. Home is where I feel comfortable being vulnerable, raw, real and honest with everything that I am inside out.
In all my years, in all my searching, I feel at home with the presence of written words and books. Written words move me. Being overly expressive has been my trait for as long as I can remember. Through writing, through reading is how I experience life. Through words being able to express myself is home for me. They let me flow freely, without resisting, without judgment, making me forget everything else!
It took a long while to realize expressing through writing is calming. It restores my balance, my peace. It makes me love myself. I return to the inner balance within myself. It heals me, gets rid of all the tarnish. It keeps me grounded. For some of us, written words in books are as important as anything else. Through reading and writing I understand myself better; giving me a flavor of things you don’t get in real life. This makes me a strong pillar for others because I heal myself in this space. I am helpful, I inspire, I motivate and I help bring joy to people by fooling around having fun lightening up their days on the way as we live our lives.
