Clouds and new life
This week began with cloudy skies and the hint of rain to come. With Susan gone, I was now on my own with the clean-up project in Templeton. I still had a dumpster to fill, but I was also exhausted after my busy week before. I stayed home most of the day to try to catch up with neglected bookkeeping and housework and rest my muscles.
Before the sunset, I walked the neighborhood a bit to take a few photos of the sky. I also noticed this tree in bloom in my side yard. At least one lower branch was blooming in two different colors. It’s hard to see the full length of the branch in the photo because it blends with the other branches. You’ll have to trust me.
On the next day, Wednesday, I reluctantly returned to Templeton to resume my work. This photo shows the entrance to the property. I took it as I was leaving and had stopped to get the mail.
