Snow Day!
We just got our first real snowstorm of the winter in Northern Nevada. The mountains are supposed to get 6–10 feet, with up to two feet down here in the valleys.
Normally we get snow in December and early January, but this year, until now, we’ve had spring-like temperatures in the high 50s. According to our local weather stations, there was a high-pressure system above us that was forcing the jet stream north. We kept missing all the moisture…
