Solitary Crow

A Poem

Photo by Dr. Yogesh Namdev on Unsplash

A solitary crow
Sits silhouetted
On top of a streetlamp pole,
In swirling mist of morning fog.
Day is barely dawning,
Black is turning to gray,
Fog and dark are losing
Their hold on washing away colors.
