After two visits to Humble Wood Fire Pizza with friends, I took Ben there for lunch on Sunday.
He enjoyed the outing and the pizza. For dessert, we shared a Brown Butter Chocolate Chip Cookie—the best chocolate chip cookie we’ve ever had—and took home leftover pizza and eclairs for dinner.
The weather was windy but warm, so we sat on the porch of the restaurant. After eating, I took photos of the new bookstore, The Lynx, next door. I wrote about the bookstore here:
The lynx mural (lead photo) was completed last week, and it’s gorgeous. I also like the words WATCH US BITE BACK, a message to our Draconian state government officials who have passed book-banning laws under the direction of our asinine governor, Ron DeSantis.
