My mother lives in a charming, established neighborhood with beautiful, mature trees lining the streets. These trees provide shade, beauty, and a sense of history. However, they can also pose risks, especially during storms and bad weather.

Fallen trees are a common issue. Older trees with weakening root systems are more likely to fall. Fallen trees can block roads, cause power outages, and damage property.

Recently, a large tree fell near my mother’s neighbor’s house on public property. Thankfully, no one was hurt, and the county promptly cleared the fallen tree.

I felt this incident was important to share with my readers as it highlighted the importance of proactive tree maintenance.
