The Mighty Himalayas
A poem inspired by its majestic views I captured on a trip

Through the white-capped
Himalayan mountains
a little above my city
came a river pristine
with clean crispy air
Wintry wind comes
sometimes quiet
sometimes mellow
yet with a chill it
brings warmth to last

one that carried plumes
of breath we claim,
clean out of sight
before the next one came.
the wintry wind
sweeping across the land
with bold honesty
a rawness that brings
one’s soul into
gentle cloud-filtered rays!
