The Roses of June
Weeds & Wildflowers June Prompt
My father used to grow rows and rows of roses, his favorite flower. I’ve never had luck with them, but I enjoy seeing all the rose photos that posts. I chose one of her rose pics as our June banner because in many places, roses signal the start of summer.
Thank you, , for providing our June banner, and thanks to for our May banner photo.
Our June prompt is simple: roses. Photos, stories, poems, songs, and artwork of roses. As Ethel Merman used to sing, “Everything is coming up roses!”
And I can’t think of roses without thinking of The Rose by Bette Midler.
