Nostalgic For The Commute?

I was the chauffeur, not the patient, when we visited this hospital — twice in the week — both times early morning. The mural is huge. It is clearly visible from the main road, which I was glad about because our early appointment meant we had to battle through the city’s rush hour, and I haven’t been to this hospital before.

However, the fight through traffic was once part of my daily routine. Doing these journeys this week, did I feel nostalgia for the days of my regular commute? Easy question; easy answer: NO.

Feet Firmly Under The Table

The Cartwrights took no time at all to settle in. Our previous Dinos from the rescue centre took time to find their way to the door of the potting shed — where the grain is stored. The Cartwrights were knocking on the glass on day 2.

Rescue hens don’t arrive with names, though we have dabbled with naming them over the past few years. It doesn’t always turn out as expected.
