My straight answer, my chronic illness of back and pelvic pain landed me here. I will write a separate article on my healing, recovery, and pain. After finishing my meditation practices I thought to write about my starting journey. Every day, I feel that I should do something that makes me feel more connected with people.

And In the early morning, our mind is silent and crystal clear, I bet anything you ask it won’t lie,

Anyways try asking your body If the mind is failing, the body never lies.

I have always dreamt of doing something creative, although I am a software engineer. But with my software engineer job, I was becoming more obsessed with the screen. That job drains you mentally a lot.

If I remember my mom used to write poetry in her initial days. But she never tried to find any platform, she comes from a very conservative family. Even my uncle was very good at his artwork, he used to help me with my art projects at school days. The last time, I met my mom,

she asked me so you have started following my childhood hobbies?

And I felt so happy — shy also!

I replied that someday I will build my career in writing. And she thought I was kidding and even started suggesting to concentrate on my full-time job. I told her dreamers are like that and someday I will earn from this no matters how much time it takes.

Also, my mentor who helped me in meditation advised me to start writing.

But what gave me a final touch?

I went to my terrace to watch the sunset as part of my daily routine. And I saw my parents and sister were sitting there and helping one pigeon to fly. My father told me he was lying there since morning, I saw his 2 feathers also lying down. My father also tried fixing him in the morning to help him fly but with no luck, he gave up, I thought to take him down and fix it. Parents were afraid the cat won’t leave it, so they asked me to take him downstairs.

Now I thought to pick it up!

So in my first attempt, I tried holding from its wings. It fumbles and moved a little ahead of its resting position.

The same happened in my second attempt. I took a little break and thought either pigeon is afraid or he doesn’t want to go with me downstairs. The last possibility could be I’m afraid — yes I was a bit

In my third attempt when I picked him up with excitement. He got a little upthrust with my hands, and he flew away like an airplane takeoff the runway. And It shocked and amazed my family. My sister said to me

What magic that was?

I smiled with my open lips and enjoyed the laugh inside my head. A wonderful evening that was and I’m not gonna forget it till a long time.

After that, I immediately went downstairs. And published my first article on medium on health.

The main purpose of this article is not to share some boring story of my life but to show you how ideas are born,

Feathers are also a symbol of trust, honor, strength, wisdom, power, and freedom.

Feathers are a powerful symbol of spiritual growth also.

Now, I also want to add one more important thing

Role of Meditations

Since the day I have started meditations my love for stars, moon, birds, the sun has been increased many times. I believe now birds and pigeons trust me more and many times they sit down closer to me without holding any fear. Meditations have created a new space in my mind.

Creativity comes with a spiritual practice if not gifted. Also, birds and pigeons carry a secret message from the loved ones. Having suddenly float feathers across your path seem to be a sign from a loved one who has recently passed away.

What led to manifold my beliefs stronger?

I lost my uncle before the above pigeon incident. My uncle was a very caring and kind-hearted person and in his last days, I was not able to spend time with him. So, I got a hint that pigeon has passed some message to me and I should not wait this time.

That’s how creative ideas are born. If any idea is knocking on our door. And if we have time we should definitely go for it. One nice thing I have learned from the book Living beyond fear by Elizabeth Gilbert.

At last, I want to add small poetry

I saw a pigeon, who wants to fly
But was waiting for someone to show him the path,
And become his guiding light
My parents thought he is injured,
But I knew something else he is searching for,
And he just needed a little touch
As soon as I gave him the upthrust,
He flew like no other moment exist
And fulfilled his purpose,
We laughed and enjoyed the evening after a very long time!!

We all have some story though we don’t have feathers, we can leave our imprint behind that can be shining light for someone else…
