90s cover bands, cold boat rides, and spicy chicken: my first Nashville experience

I gained a sister-in-law this year! Her bachelorette party in Nashville in October was the perfect excuse to take my first trip to Music City.

We stayed at an Airbnb in East Nashville, explored brunch in various parts of the city, spent a bit of time on Broadway, took a riverboat cruise on the Cumberland River, and dressed up in costumes to dance to My So-Called Band, a 90s cover band. Before we left on Sunday, I wandered around the massive Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center, where I explored the massive 9 acres of indoor gardens and waterfalls.
