We talked about being a test automation engineer in a TASP company vs a non-TASP company.

Let’s first look at the things you need to master if you are working for a non-TASP company.

I would say, here you need to play multiple roles. The role of a product manager, a business analyst is more like a technical business analyst, developer, dev-ops engineer, quality engineer, and finally what actually you love, the test automation engineer role.

Aww, that’s challenging, isn’t it? Yes.

Product Manager

  • Since you are using the product, most likely you will have to decide what is needed for the automation tool to support.
