8 Amazing Autistic TikTok Creators You Should Follow and Boost
Before digging into the creators, I would like to note that people who are trying to understand Autism Spectrum Disorder and support the community should not use the organization Autism Speaks as a reliable source. The organization’s logo is a blue puzzle piece, which implies that autistic people have a piece missing. It spreads misinformation and fear mongers and for these reasons and more, the majority of the autistic community advises staying away from Autism Speaks. Instead, please listen to actual autistic creators, starting with the ones below!

Paige Layle (she/they) has over 2 million followers and makes videos on topics such as autism and mental disorders. She has a series about autism in girls which explores how the diagnosis for autism is geared towards boys or how girls are underrepresented in the community because of gender-based social roles.
