WeFilmchain and Elastos Showcase Blockchain Applications at the 4th Hollywood Entertainment Technology Festival
WeFilmchain and its strategic partner Elastos explored opportunities for their technology at the annual Hollywood festival geared to new entertainment based technology.
Los Angeles, CA — Oct. 8, 2018 — WeFilmchain Inc. and Elastos Blockchain headed to the story telling capital of the world to share their vision with the participants at the 4th annual Hollywood Entertainment Technology Festival HETF held in Los Angeles this week. WeFilmchain and Elastos were exploring opportunities for blockchain technology in the landscape of entertainment technology.
HETF is an international event bridging opportunities between the US and Asia. Featuring expert presentations and panel discussions on the latest industry trends and topics; attendees gain valuable insights into cross-border opportunities and investments. The festival promotes collaboration and innovation on a global scale, and serves as an ideal platform for visionaries, content creators, entrepreneurs, and investors currently working in — or interested with — the US-Asia landscape of entertainment technology.
Elastos took part in a conversation around Intellectual Property and employing blockchain in the entertainment field. Panel speakers included Jiarui Liu, Academic Director of IP and Technology Law Programs, University of San Francisco, School of Law, who opened the discussion to a receptive audience about how blockchain can be used to create a better model to monetize music and provide financial prosperity for content creators.
