The introductory speaker at the conference was Dr. Han Feng, a visiting researcher at Columbia University, co-founder of Elastos, a former blockchain consultant at Huawei Academia Sinica, and secretary general of the Asian Blockchain DACA Association.

Dr. Fen has authored several landmark publications including the “Blockchain New Economic Blueprint and Guide”, “Blockchain Development and Examples”, “Blockchain-Quantum Wealth View” and other monographs, and participated in the development of the Tsinghua University postgraduate public class, “Cyber Intelligence and Blockchain.” Dr. Han Fen is also one of the main proponents of blockchain applications and widely known in the industry as a visionary.

Elastos is the world’s first Internet operating system to use the Internet as its underlying infrastructure. It emphasizes the separation of network communication and application computing, and prohibits applications from directly accessing the network thereby eliminating most of the virus attacks on the Internet. From a technical point of view, Elastos is essentially the infrastructure of a smart contract economy. The overall technical architecture of Elastos includes blockchain, decentralized Internet infrastructure, and a computing environment. It provides a credit system, a secure computing environment, the secure transaction and circulation of digital assets, and supports developers to create practical and decentralized applications that are easy to use.

In his speech, Elastos co-founder Dr. Han Feng pointed out that intellectual property has no limitations, and yet third world countries are at a deficit. That’s because developed countries have been able to capitalize on IP development and ownership. Feng suggested that by using the Internet technology capabilities that are cloud-centric, it is possible to verify ownership of digital products such as movies in a blockchain, making the digital content secure and trackable. Once the digital rights are confirmed, they can be resold. With its authenticity intact, the initial digital information can be monetized again and again, offering a value investment with a true basis for significant appreciation.

Feng says that by joining their unique technologies, Elastos and WeFilmchain can better realize the vision and potential of both systems, and achieve a seamless opportunity that benefits all users. Dr. Feng also stated that he believes that the future of WeFilmchain combined with the technology of Elastos can turn the global digital marketplace into a new, wider revenue source, supporting a new, film production and sales model, including the realization of the future of such a financial system. It may also become one of the first Dapps (Decentralized App) to lead the Elastos blockchain system.
