WAW is a celebration of all creativity so we need people who think ‘weird’.
Calling All Creatives
As you can tell, Weird and Wonderful is a brand spanking new publication and we’re on the lookout for new and exciting writers and content producers.
We want creatives from any background, music, literature, art, dance, film, health and wellbeing. We want people who can talk from strange niche’s as well as those who are jack’s of all trades. Just as long as you can ignite people’s imaginations.
1. Have a look at our guidelines:
What to submit:
- Published or unpublished stories: We don’t mind if it’s been out there for years, as long as it’s promoting culture and creativity
- Topics/works you feel passionate about
- Interviews with artists/creatives
What not to submit:
- Obvious self promotion: Of course talk passionately about what you do, but let’s not be forcing too much of it on people.
- Clickbait headlines: e.g “These 5 things will make you insanely successful”.
- Aggressive call-to-actions throughout and at the bottom of your story.

4. Once You’ve Been Accepted: Submitting your Post for Publishing!
Once your article/post is ready for publishing, submit to us by clicking on the three dots by the publish button and go down to Weird and Wonderful.
Then we will take a look at your draft, get back to you if we need to suggest any alterations, or just publish it straight away.
When you can expect to hear back:
As we are new, we should be able to process applications and submissions very quickly. We’ll certainly get back to you within 3 days of submitting.
