Hello everyone,

This is not a formal article but a personal post to convey my inner thoughts on what motivates me to write.

And the answer is- ‘nothing.’

I began writing on this platform last month.

I’ve written about ten articles till now, and I must admit, it brings me contentment.

I don’t need to seek reasons for writing; I do it willingly. Of course, many individuals do, but I find my mind naturally drawn to it, as it brings me a sense of peace that other tasks do not.

Most of my writings are related to mental wellness and the things that have actually helped me make progress in life.

I don’t know whether you will find it helpful or not, but maybe someone will.

As they say, “The World is Built on Hope.”

Thus, my sole purpose in writing content is to help both of us (the author and the audience).

It is also a way to connect with people by listening and interacting with their stories, ideas, advice, and a lot more.

I’m a newbie writer, and I’ve read in many articles that we (newbies) are afraid or nervous to publish our stories and keep stacking up drafts.

But for me, that is not the case. I’m so excited to post my writings as I feel someone is out there waiting for me patiently, even if that is not the case.

In today’s digital world, there are many more ways to connect with different people. But I find this one the most suitable as here they listen to you without judgments based upon caste, creed, color, nationality, gender, religion, or anything.

Obviously, it’s not necessary that each person likes your writing (and meaningful criticisms are always welcome to me because they sharpen the edge of the sword). Still, it gives you empowerment when someone benefits from your posts or a sense of connection when they relate to you by clapping or commenting on your page.

But don’t give up or get disheartened when your article has zero likes or comments because maybe it still has reached the person you wanted to, and they just forgot to react. Not having a wide reach in the beginning can also be a cause.

I also noticed that on Medium, people are as equally good readers as writers. They are uplifting, modest, and kind. They never try to demean others, something that happens on other social platforms.

This platform radiates a spirit of unity.

In conclusion, I’ve conveyed all I intended to express.

If you liked this piece, you may also find this one interesting.

Last but not least, I would like to mention

for giving insights on ‘How to Use Grammarly Premium for Free.’

I edited this one using those tips.

Thank you, and have a great day ahead, everyone.
