Matilda Gets a Poodle

A happy Flash Fiction.

Matilda twirls about, leaving her fairy garden plants on the counter next to the dumb cane. Off she goes, retracing her progress through the garden center to find her cane.

“Matilda! Is it shiny black with white polka-dots?” calls a clerk from the back of the store.

Come have a cuppa with me in my garden. Enjoy the plants, critters, and people who gather here, discovering the delights of simple living and the wisdom the earth shares with us.
