How To Buy Land On Earth 2.io In 4 Easy Steps

Earth 2 has experienced over 12 months of growth in very little time so the website can be quite slow. The development team is doing their best to upgrade and keep up with demand so please exercise some patience when trying to buy navigate the website.
Step 1 — Sign Up
- Go to https://earth2.io/ and click “Log in / Sign up”
- Type in your email and create a password. Two-Factor Authentication would be available soon for added security.
- Check your inbox for an Email from Earth 2.io to confirm your account.
Step 2 — Browse Land
- Click buy land from the homepage
- You’ll be presented with a map view where you can search and navigate the world for a desired plot of land. On Earth 2, the smallest unit of land is a tile.
- You’ll need to zoom in to a certain level in order to see tiles. You can click the hashtag with a magnifying glass at the bottom right of the screen to automatically zoom into the tile level.
- If your desired land has already been bought, you can either make an offer to purchase it or simply buy an unoccupied land.
- For now, there is no scarcity of land but hotspots are being bought up by the second so you might want to hurry!
Step 3— Select tiles
- Select your desired tiles.
- Tiles selected shows the number of tiles you can purchase per property. The maximum number of tiles is 750.
- Price Per Tile shows the cost per tile. Depending on the country, prices are increasing by the hour.
- Total shows you the final price. It’s basically the tiles selected * price per tile.
Step 4— Purchase your land
- When you’re satisfied with your tiles, click details or scroll down and click “Buy Now”.
- You can change the description of your property to whatever you want either when purchasing or later in the property view.

- Complete payment with Paypal. Sometimes PayPal may reject your payment for weird reasons. Try again after some time or with a different card.
- Please exercise some patience when buying land as the system is currently overloaded with a lot of people trying to seize this great opportunity.
