Worlds in a Soul

I met a man who deserved the world

— and then I met another.

But a woman this time,

and the heights she would climb,

the searing light, to look is to fail.

But how can it be, that she — makes me,

lay claim this world to her?

and with such carefree — complacency,

When there is only one world,

that we have unfurled.

And the buzz of the times, the great breathing Whirr!

And the universe, and all that is in it.

Nestled in the palm of her outstretched hand,

What is it that that she will do with it?
