Iconic travel brand founder: 4 countries I’ll NEVER visit again
Like many of my fellow Canadians, I’m on a self-imposed American travel ban.
While I’ve always loved travelling to the States — particularly to my home away from home of Las Vegas — the good ol’ U.S. of A. and I are officially on a break.
I never thought I’d be the kind of guy to skip a visit due to political reasons, but President Donald Trump’s tariff attack against my homeland (annoying) and “51st State” saber-rattling (unforgivable) have prompted many Canucks to consider that their coveted travel dollars would be better spent at home.
I was definitely feeling hopeful that things had taken a turn following our prime minister’s recent cordial visit to the White House.
Alas, President Mango was back at it last week, saying Canada could join his proposed Golden Dome missile defense system for free … if only it would accept being annexed by the bully next door.
So yeah, just when things seemed to have taken a turn, it looks like Canadians’ widespread boycotts of everything from American travel to cars to food to booze will continue indefinitely.
This was top of mind when I came across an article last week about the founder of 1 iconic travel brand and his recent blog post about 4 countries he’ll never travel to again.
Do you think any of these make sense?
