Rosario’s Comment: “What If We Were All to Consider Ourselves ‘Mentally Ill?’”
Perhaps even the best of us fall quite short of our culture’s highest principles and ideals, but that isn’t always a bad thing — maybe we were simply being unrealistic in the first place….
Sometimes our comments to one another on Medium give rise to great thoughts and ideas. Within the banter back and forth, we may refine, refresh, and renew exhausted questions about important topics for which we have yet to glean suitable answers.
Take, for instance, the following exchange:
“Such a great article, Rosario. Many people live with, or know somebody, who is depressed and maybe this will enable them to identify it and get them the help that is needed.” I had been responding to Rosario’s Medium article about depression.
He came back with, “Thank you for your feedback; I genuinely appreciate it. I hope that in the future, more and more people will stumble upon this article, even simply by chance.”
