As part of doing the candida cleanse, I’ve had to give up fruit for a few months (a real challenge for me) and most dairy is off the list as well. I’ve been missing my yogurt with fruit that I often have for breakfast, or as a dessert.

However, plain greek yogurt is allowed so I’ve concocted this sugar-free — but still very tasty — version that will help curb that craving for something thick and sweet without breaking any rules.

Ingredients

*adjust the cinnamon to taste. If your cinnamon has been in your cupboard for a while, you might need to add a bit more as flavours fade with age.

*for a little extra protein, add some hemp hearts. If you add 2–3 tbsp you will end up with a texture a bit like rice pudding.

Just stir it together in your bowl and enjoy!
