We’re hiring: Chief Creative

We are looking for a Full-Time In-House Creative Director to lead branding, positioning, and marketing at Wellzesta. Wellzesta recently relocated from Greenville SC to the Charlotte NC area.

Our Products

Wellzesta Life — an enterprise-level mobile Health/Wellness platform. Residents (typically age 65+) at Life Plan Communities use Wellzesta Life as a daily life engagement tool to pursue whole person wellness. Wellzesta, in collaboration with the Wellzesta Health Research Institute, has the long term goal of correlating engagement in wellness with health outcomes.

Wellzesta Visualize (New in 2018) — WebApp for websites and digital signage. It exposes events, dining menus and provides web access for friends/family.

Responsibility #1 — Branding

We are looking for someone who can capture the essence of our story at Wellzesta. Physicists capture essence, but physicists don’t work in words. Your creative medium is words and media.

We are looking for someone who will:

  • Immerse themselves in our user experience, visit our users, and capture their stories then use these to craft our brand.
  • Work with our customer success team to translate relevant product data/statistics into marketing content.
  • Work with our production team to market new products and new product features.
  • Work with our sales and marketing team to hone their message.
  • Help us make awesome presentations.

Responsibility #2 — Positioning

We are looking for someone who can bring out our unique value proposition, communicated through web, social media, and other media. You should be exquisitely aware of our competitive landscape, and use this knowledge in our positioning.

Responsibility #3 — Marketing

Build campaigns around data (from customer success) and media such as customer testimonials, user testimonials, and videos of product use.

Have fun creating memes and short videos.

Do a first draft on long form writing. Pass it off to Kyle (VP Sales) for polishing.

For demand generation, we focus on inbound marketing (i.e., we do very little outbound marketing).

Deployments:

  • Website
  • Keynote presentations for sales presentations and invited talks. Ability to do infographics is especially appreciated.
  • Blog posts
  • Social media
  • Basic photography and videography
  • Design (but not execute) email campaigns

  • Agile. Actively solicit feedback from the team as part of your creative process.
