We’re hiring: Sales Development

Wellzesta, Inc. is seeking a full-time B2B SaaS Sales Development Representative in the Charlotte, NC area. Our team is growing and we’re looking for a dynamic, high energy, and driven individual with experience in B2B SaaS sales. This role reports to the VP of Strategy, and will involve both working independently and collaboratively with the outside sales and the marketing teams.

Wellzesta is best known for its flagship product, Wellzesta Life, an enterprise-level mobile Health/Wellness platform. Residents (typically age 65+) at Life Plan Communities use Wellzesta Life as a daily life engagement platform to pursue whole person wellness. Wellzesta, in collaboration with the Wellzesta Health Research Institute, has the long term goal of correlating engagement in wellness with health outcomes.

As a CRM junkie, you will shepherd leads through the B2B SaaS sales lifecycle. Most of our sales leads come from existing relationships based on our deep industry experience. Other sources of leads are referrals from channel partners, invited talks, referrals from customers, social media, and website. Your organizational skills, grit, stick-to-it-ishness, and follow through will ensure that leads do not fall through the cracks. Your knowledge of our products and strong presentation skills will enable you to do product demo webinars.

Although click-through’s, website traffic, campaign execution, and social media are in your daily routine; your main asset is intuition about the prospective customer. You should be able to perform continuous analysis on Wellzesta’s audience, acquisitions, referrals, behavior, etc. across all digital and non-digital platforms. To stay current, you research digital marketing trends across a variety of platforms.

You relish the opportunity to rethink business processes to achieve maximum efficiency. You will orchestrate the outside sales team’s schedule, arranging high value appointments for them. By collaborating with our creative team and sales team you will effectively communicate our value proposition to prospective clients to accelerate adoption of Wellzesta Life.

Responsibilities

  • Effectively represent the Wellzesta value proposition to leads/prospects, helping businesses understand our products and services.
  • Research and qualify inbound leads, and maintain conversations through phone and email.
  • Cultivate multiple lead channels, and develop strategies for maximizing the ROI of each.
  • Create a continual pipeline of opportunities to support the sales team.
  • Establish and monitor performance metrics of program and sales success.
  • Be a continuous learner of marketing trends.
  • Monitor behavior across all digital and non-digital platforms.
  • Perform continuous analysis on Wellzesta’s audience.
  • Minimal travel is required.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 1–3 years of SaaS/Inside sales experience preferred. The ideal candidate will be intimately familiar with all aspects of the B2B SaaS sales process, excel at smart lead nurturing and contact strategy execution.
  • You are a CRM power user.
  • Credentials: BA or BS degree from a four-year university.
  • Techy: You love technology: Did you watch the Apple WWDC conference?
  • Skills: You must be persistent with your follow-ups and consistent in following through with your day-to-day tasks.
  • Self-motivated: eager to learn, adapt, and participate in scaling an early growth company.
  • Determined: proven track record of consistent performance and desire to succeed.
  • Independent: ability to self-manage with strong organizational, time-management, and follow-through skills.
  • Team Player: committed to working cross-functionally and supporting fellow team members.
  • Attitude: up-beat, positive demeanor, ability to thrive in a fast-paced and changing environment.
  • Client communication: Your communication should be crisp. OUT are long flowing emails. IN are emails containing punchy, concise, and useful information followed by clear ask.
  • Internal communication: We love slack and other productivity tools; you should too. Internally, we try to avoid communicating by email and holding large group (synchronous) meetings.
  • Agility. It is ok that we didn’t get it perfect the first time, but we are constantly improving.
