Foundation’s Measures to Support oWEMIX and WEMIX Classic Holders
As previously announced, the Orbit Bridge connecting WEMIX3.0 and Klaytn, facilitating the bridging of WEMIX and oWEMIX, remained unaffected during the Orbit Bridge vulnerability attack.
However, given the prolonged suspension of the Orbit Bridge, the WEMIX Foundation is preparing proactive measures to address community concerns.
[oWEMIX, WEMIX Classic → WEMIX Coin Conversion Service]
Starting from February 1st, 2024, Kurrency(https://klaytn.kurrency.io/), operated by WEMIX PTE. LTD., will offer a service to convert oWEMIX and WEMIX Classic on the Klaytn network to WEMIX, the native coin of WEMIX3.0, at a 1:1 ratio.
The conversion service is not conducted in real-time like a bridge service. Foundation will verify the requested quantities then transfer WEMIX held by the foundation to the submitted wallets. The transfer to the foundation’s wallet for conversion can be initiated at any time. However, transfers of WEMIX to requested wallets will take place twice a week, specifically every Tuesday and Thursday, following meticulous review processes including transaction verification and quantity aggregation.
During this process, the oWEMIX received by the foundation will be redeemed for WEMIX through further discussions with Ozys, and WEMIX Classic will be migrated to WEMIX.
To ensure stable and efficient operation, the conversion service will only support una Wallet. Therefore, those who have not yet installed una Wallet are advised to prepare in advance.

una Wallet allows the use of multiple chains with the same wallet address, thus preventing the risk of misdirected wallet addresses during the application process. Additionally, users can easily check the converted WEMIX without the hassle of manually adding networks.
In addition to priority relief measures, the foundation will continue discussions with Ozys to resume the WEMIX3.0 ↔️ Klaytn bridge service.
Until the bridge is resumed, we recommend you to utilize the conversion service, and we will provide more detailed information upon the service launch.

2024년 2월 1일부터 WEMIX PTE. LTD.가 운영하는 Kurrency(https://klaytn.kurrency.io/ko/)에서 클레이튼 네트워크의 oWEMIX와 WEMIX Classic을 위믹스3.0의 네이티브 코인 WEMIX로 1:1 전환하는 서비스를 제공할 예정입니다.
전환은 실시간 브릿지 서비스가 아닌 신청된 수량을 확인한 후 재단이 보유한 WEMIX를 신청한 지갑에 전송하는 방식으로 진행됩니다. 해당 전환을 위한 재단 지갑 전송은 언제든지 가능하나 전송 Tx 및 수량 취합 등 검토작업 이후 신청 지갑으로의 위믹스 전송은 매주 화요일과 목요일 주 2회 진행될 예정입니다.
이 과정에서 재단이 수령한 oWEMIX는 추후 오지스와의 협의를 통해 WEMIX로 회수하고, WEMIX Classic은 WEMIX로 마이그레이션될 예정입니다.
