Kroma joins 40 WONDERS
WEMIX3.0 is proud to announce that Kroma, the first domestic Ethereum Layer 2 chain, is further enhancing WEMIX3.0’s reliability and expanding its ecosystem by joining its Mainnet’s Node Council as WONDER 4.
WONDERS, also known as Node Council Partners (NCP), validate transactions and blocks on the WEMIX3.0 mainnet, maintaining connections with newly added nodes to ensure the stable operation of the mainnet. Each new NCP, assigned a number between 1 and 40, plays a critical role in upholding the integrity and security of the WEMIX3.0 mainnet.
Kroma is the first domestic Ethereum Layer 2 solution developed by Lightscale, It leverages a new technology that combines Optimistic Rollup with ZK Fault Proof, effectively addressing blockchain scalability issues with faster transaction speeds and lower gas fees. As a key partner in the expansive WEMIX mega ecosystem, Kroma undertakes a vital function in connecting the WEMIX3.0 ecosystem with that of Ethereum, thereby enabling a seamless transition of users and resources from the Ethereum domain into the WEMIX ecosystem.
Kroma is also actively expanding its own gaming ecosystem through game onboarding and supports the global version of the upcoming NIGHT CROWS, anticipating a significant leap forward. It plans to further expand various blockchain components, including DeFi and NFTs, in the future.
Kroma, which offers DeFi services related to WEMIX, such as WEMIX on Kroma, is actively involved in unagi’s omnichain initiative. It plans to maintain its role as a crucial contributor to the growth of both WEMIX and the omnichain ecosystem.
