Wemade signs WEMIX PLAY onboarding contract with XLGAMES

Wemade has signed a WEMIX PLAY onboarding agreement with XLGAMES (CEO Kwanho Choi).
XLGAMES was founded in 2003 by CCO Song Jae Kyung, a highly esteemed developer in South Korea. The company has successfully launched several games globally, including ArcheAge, ArcheAge War, and Darkgamer showcasing its exceptional development capabilities.
In 2022, XLGAMES also introduced ArcheWorld, an MMORPG that incorporates blockchain technology. Currently, it is developing ArcheAge 2, an upcoming AAA game for PC and console platforms.
The game to be onboarded to WEMIX PLAY will be determined after further discussions between the two companies.
Furthermore, XLGAMES has recently joined the 40 WONDERS, a Node Council Partner of the WEMIX3.0 Mainnet. With its experience and expertise in combining games and blockchain, XLGAMES plans to contribute to the expansion of the WEMIX3.0 Mainnet and the gaming ecosystem.

㈜위메이드가 (주)엑스엘게임즈(대표 최관호)와 위믹스 플레이(WEMIX PLAY) 온보딩 계약을 체결했다.
엑스엘게임즈는 국내 대표 스타 개발자 송재경 CCO(Chief Creative Officer)가 2003년에 설립한 게임사다. 우수한 개발력을 통해 <아키에이지(ArcheAge)>, <아키에이지 워(Archeage War)>, <달빛조각사 다크게이머(Darkgamer)> 등 다수 게임을 글로벌 시장에서 성공적으로 서비스해왔다.
2022년에는 블록체인 기술을 접목한 MMORPG <아키월드(Arche World)>도 선보였다. 현재는 차기작인 <아키에이지2(ArcheAge2)>를 PC와 콘솔 플랫폼 용 AAA급 게임으로 개발 중이다.
위믹스플레이에 온보딩할 게임은 추후 양사가 협의해 결정하기로 했다.
한편, 엑스엘게임즈는 최근 위믹스3.0(WEMIX3.0) 메인넷의 노드 카운슬 파트너(Node Council Partner)인 ’40 원더스(40 WONDERS)’에도 합류했다. 게임과 블록체인을 결합해본 경험과 기술을 바탕으로, 위믹스3.0 메인넷과 게임 생태계 활성화를 위해 노력할 계획이다.
