WEMIX and Chainlink Labs to Build Omnichain Network unagi Ecosystem Together

WEMIX Foundation entered a strategic partnership with Chainlink Labs to build an innovative omnichain network unagi (Unbound Networking & Accelerating Growth Initiative).

Chainlink Labs is the developer behind oracle platform Chainlink which provides transparent and trustworthy on-off chain data linking technology.

Chainlink’s Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol (CCIP) will serve as the exclusive technology underpinning unagi(x), the central component of the omnichain initiative. It will be essential in building a decentralized omnichain messaging protocol that supports fast and secure on-off chain trading.

The company will also join unagi as the first member of COURT (Certified Organizations for Unagi Round Table), the community that cooperate to build a sustainable omnichain environment and pursue R&D activities for innovations.

위믹스 재단이 혁신적인 옴니체인 네트워크 ‘우나기(unagi, Unbound Networking & Accelerating Growth Initiative)’ 생태계 구축을 위해 체인링크 랩스(Chainlink Labs)와 전략적 제휴를 체결했다.

체인링크 랩스는 웹3(Web3) 오라클 플랫폼 ‘체인링크(Chainlink)’의 개발사다. 체인링크는 투명하고 신뢰 가능한 온·오프체인 데이터 연결 기술인 오라클 네트워크 솔루션을 제공하는 플랫폼이다.

이번 제휴에 따라 양사는 우나기의 핵심 엔진 ‘우나기 엑스(unagi(x))’에 체인링크 랩스가 개발한 크로스체인 메시징 프로토콜 ‘CCIP(Chainlink Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol)’를 적용한다. CCIP를 활용해 온오프체인 간 빠르고 안전한 거래를 지원하는 탈중앙화 옴니체인 메시징 프로토콜을 구축할 예정이다.

또한, 체인링크 랩스는 우나기 코트(COURT, Certified Organizations for Unagi Round Table)의 첫 번째 파트너로 합류한다. 코트는 지속 가능한 옴니체인 환경을 조성하기 위해 공동으로 기술을 연구개발하고 혁신하는 공동체다.

위믹스 재단은 우나기와 함께 다양한 블록체인을 연결해 거대한 웹3 생태계를 구축하고, 기술 혁신을 도모할 글로벌 파트너들을 지속해서 코트의 일원으로 영입할 계획이다.
