The Wepublic Terms of Service and Privacy Policy will be updated in conjunction with the upcoming Wepublic update this month.

Please refer to the details below.

1. Purpose

• Wepublic Terms of Service and Privacy Policy will be updated following the addition of the Funding Project.

2. Details

[Terms of Service]

• Article 2 : The terms Organizer, Sponsor, Participant, DAO Admin, Sponsored Project, Meeting Project, Funding Project, Target Amount, Sponsorship, Sponsorship Settlement, Sponsorship Refund, Project Duration, Reward, Funding Success (or Project Success), Project Complete, Cancel Project will be added.
• Article 3 : The existing provisions on Purchase•Sponsorship•Refund•Settlement will be separated into individual clauses and replaced accordingly following the establishment of a new sponsorship provision.
• The existing Article 4 (Contractual Obligations) will be renumbered as Article 5 following the establishment of a new Article 4 on Projects.
• Article 5 : The obligation will be divided into Company, Users, and Organizers, with detailed responsibilities categorized under each.
• Article 6 (Fees), Article 7 (Wepublic Cash Recharge and Refund), and Article 8 (Funding Project Sponsorship and Refund) will be established.
• Detailed project-related provisions will be added to Article 9 (General Provisions) Section 5 and Article 10 (Miscellaneous) Section 2.
• Article 9 Section 2 №1 : The list of applicable laws will be updated.
• Article 9 Section 3 : The content regarding the handling of personal information and related matters will be revised.

[Privacy Policy]

• Article 2, Section 1 : The retention and utilization period of legal guardian information will be removed.
• Article 2, Section 1 : The Political Parties Act will be removed.
• Article 3, Section 1 : Wemade will be removed from the Company’s personal information processing items.
• Article 3, Section 1 : Registered official DAOs (Hope of Korea Party, Presbyterian Church in Busan) will be removed from the Company’s personal information processing items.
• Article 3, Section 1 : Participation details of the Funding Project Reward Delivery will be added to the Company’s personal information processing items.
• Article 4, Section 1 : Provision of personal information related to Funding Projects will be added.
• Article 10, Section 2 : The installation, operation, and rejection methods of cookies will be revised.
• Article 10, Section 2 : User rights regarding the use of cookies will be added.

3. Effective Date

• Implementation : August 19, 2024

당월에 진행 예정인 위퍼블릭 업데이트에 따라 위퍼블릭 이용약관 및 개인정보 처리방침이 개정될 예정입니다.

세부 사항은 아래 내용을 참고해 주시기를 바랍니다.

1. 개정 사유

• 펀딩 프로젝트 추가에 따라 위퍼블릭 이용약관 및 개인정보 처리방침이 개정될 예정입니다.

2. 개정 내용

[이용약관]

• 제2조 용어의 정의에 개설자, 후원자, 참여자, 다오 관리자, 후원 프로젝트, 모임 프로젝트, 펀딩 프로젝트, 목표 금액, 후원금, 후원금 정산, 후원금 환불, 프로젝트 기간, 리워드, 펀딩 성공(또는 프로젝트 성공), 프로젝트 완료, 프로젝트 취소 항목이 추가될 예정입니다.
• 제3조 후원 조항의 신설에 따라, 기존의 구매•후원•환불•정산 조항은 각각 개별 조항으로 분리되어 대체될 예정입니다.
• 제4조 프로젝트 조항의 신설에 따라, 기존 제4조 계약 당사자의 의무는 제5조로 변경될 예정입니다.
• 제5조 계약 당사자의 의무는 회사, 이용자, 그리고 개설자의 의무로 나뉘며, 각 의무의 세부 사항이 함께 분류될 예정입니다.
• 제6조 수수료, 제7조 위퍼블릭 캐시 충전분의 환불, 제8조 펀딩 프로젝트의 후원금 환불 조항이 신설될 예정입니다.
• 제9조 일반사항 제5항과 제10조 기타 제2항에 프로젝트 관련 세부 사항이 추가될 예정입니다.
• 제9조 제2항 1번에 해당되는 관련 법령이 추가될 예정입니다.
• 제9조 제3항 개인정보 등의 처리에 대한 내용이 수정될 예정입니다.

[개인정보 처리방침]

• 제2조 제1항 법정대리인 정보의 보유 및 이용기간이 삭제될 예정입니다.
• 제2조 제1항 정당법이 삭제될 예정입니다.
• 제3조 제1항 회사의 개인정보 처리 항목에서 위메이드가 삭제될 예정입니다.
• 제3조 제1항 회사의 개인정보 처리 항목 중 가입된 공식 다오(한국의희망정당, 부산노회)가 삭제될 예정입니다.
• 제3조 제1항 회사의 개인정보 처리 항목에 배송 리워드 펀딩 프로젝트 참여 내용이 추가될 예정입니다.
• 제4조 제1항 펀딩 프로젝트 관련 개인정보 제공 내용이 추가될 예정입니다.
• 제10조 제2항 쿠키의 설치•운영 및 거부 방법이 수정될 예정입니다.
• 제10조 제2항 쿠키 사용에 대한 선택 이용자 권한 내용이 추가될 예정입니다.

3. 개정 시기

• 적용 일정 : 2024년 8월 19일
  ※ 내부 사정으로 인하여 업데이트 일정이 변경될 수 있습니다.
