Updates on MYRTLE Tokenomics

MYRTLE, the Fan Token of Myrtle Sarrosa launched on January 27th, has experienced a dramatic increase in price and a surge of additional tokens minted due to a high level of interest from global fans. While the increase in token price is something to be celebrated as a sign of community growth, it is also true that concerns have been raised about inflation resulting from the speed of the token’s price increase exceeding the growth of the community.

To address this, Myrtle Sarrosa and the WEMIX team have decided to proceed with the following updates of MYRTLE tokenomics to support the healthy improvement of community and for active transactions of Fan Token.

1. Resetting the high-water mark

• The Time-Weighted Average Price (TWAP) history, a standard for MYRTLE’s additional minting, will be reset.
• Consequently, all the additional MYRTLE tokens that have been minted in the Vault will be retrieved and burned.
  > There are a total of 8,024,580.6933 tokens in the Vault.
  > Some portions will be used for Myrtle Sarrosa and the community.
  > The TWAP reset and burn date is March 13th, 2023.

2. Providing additional liquidity

• To facilitate transactions and minimize price volatility, additional liquidity will be provided to the MYRTLE liquidity pool.
• To do this, WEMIX will purchase 10,000 MYRTLE from Myrtle Sarrosa among the retrieved tokens from the Vault.
  > The purchase amount in WEMIX$ will be sent to Myrtle Sarrosa’s wallet.
• The purchase amount and the size of the additional liquidity will be announced later.

3. Community Event

• Myrtle Sarrosa has plans for community events, such as an airdrop in the near future.
• To do this, 5,000 MYRTLE from the Vault will be transferred to her wallet.
  > The transfer date is March 13th, 2023.

• MYRTLE의 추가발행의 기준이 되는 TWAP 기록을 리셋합니다.
• 이에 따라, 그간 추가 공급된 MYRTLE은 Vault에서 회수되어 소각됩니다.
  > 회수 예정인 Vault 수량은 8,024,580.6933개이며 이중 일부는 Myrtle Sarrosa와커뮤니티를 위해 사용될 예정입니다.
  > TWAP 기록 리셋 및 소각일정은 2023년 3월 13일입니다.

2. 추가 유동성 공급

• 더욱 활발한 거래와 가격 변동성을 낮추기 위해 MYRTLE 풀에 추가 유동성을 공급할 예정입니다.
• Vault에서 회수한 수량 중 10,000개 MYRTLE을 Myrtle Sarrosa로부터 구입하여 유동성으로 공급합니다.
  > 구매금액인 WEMIX$는 Myrtle Sarrosa 지갑으로 전송할 예정입니다.
• 구매금액과 유동성 풀 공급 규모는 추후 공지를 통해 안내할 예정입니다.

3. 커뮤니티 이벤트

• Myrtle Sarrosa는 커뮤니티를 위해 에어드랍 등 다양한 이벤트를 기획중에 있으며, Vault에서 회수한 수량 중 5,000개를 Myrtle Sarrosa의 지갑으로 전송할 예정입니다.
  > 전송 일정은 2023년 3월 13일입니다.
