We are pleased to inform you that the WEMIX PLAY NFT sales method will be updated to a “hybrid auction” through social pricing.

Introducing hybrid auction to WEMIX PLAY promotes the activation of NFT transactions, granting both NFT sellers and bidders a role in the appreciation of NFT values.

Meet the hybrid auction, evolved from the traditional auction method, where the appropriate price for specific NFTs is determined together with the community.

[Update Details]

▶ Hybrid Auction

• A hybrid auction combines English and Dutch auction formats, allowing sellers and bidders greater flexibility in NFT transactions.
• The hybrid auction employs both English and Dutch auction methods: English auction involves bidding higher than the NFT sale price, while Dutch auction starts at a higher price and decreases if there are no bids until it finds a buyer.
• When an NFT holder initiates an auction, a 3-hour countdown begins. If no bids are made within the 3-hour window, the sale price decreases, transitioning to a Dutch auction automatically.
• Hybrid auctions will be implemented across all NFT auctions offered on WEMIX PLAY, including drops, marketplace listings, and monthly MYRTLE NFT auctions.

▶ Transition to Dutch Auction

• When an NFT transitions automatically to a Dutch auction, the sale price reduces by one step, and the countdown restarts. If there are no bids thereafter, the price reduces each time the auction countdown of 3 hours ends.
• The sale price of the NFT reduces in decrements down to the minimum unit of 0.1.
• Below are the criteria for the step-by-step reduction :

▷ If the NFT sale unit is 10,000 below

• The sale price reduces by 1 at the second digit from the front of the sale price, and any digits beyond that are truncated.

▷ If the NFT sale unit is 10,000 or more

• The price reduces by 5 at the third digit from the front of the sale price, and any digits beyond that are truncated.
• If the digit being reduced is 6, 7, 8, 9, or 0, it reduces to 5.

• If the digit being reduced is 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5, it reduces to 0.

▶ Transition to English Auction

• When a bid is placed for an NFT that is either initially listed for sale or currently in a Dutch auction, the NFT automatically transitions to an English auction.

WEMIX PLAY NFT 판매 방식이 소셜 프라이싱을 통한 “하이브리드 옥션”으로 업데이트가 진행될 예정입니다.

WEMIX PLAY에 하이브리드 옥션 도입은 NFT 거래 활성화를 촉진시키며 NFT 판매자와 응찰자 모두에게 NFT 가치상승의 역할을 부여합니다.

기존 옥션 방식에서 진화한 특정 NFT의 적정 가격을 커뮤니티와 함께 정하는 하이브리드 옥션을 만나보세요.

[업데이트 상세 내용]

▶ 하이브리드 옥션

• 하이브리드 옥션이란 잉글리쉬 옥션과 더치 옥션이 결합된 이중 옥션 전환 방식으로 판매자와 응찰자가 더욱 자유로운 NFT 거래를 가능케 합니다.
• 하이브리드 옥션은 NFT 판매가보다 더 높은 가격을 제시하는 응찰 방식인 잉글리쉬 옥션과 옥션 판매 시작가에서 응찰이 없어 유찰될 시 가격이 낮아지는 더치 옥션 방식을 사용합니다.
• NFT 보유자가 NFT 판매를 시작하면 3시간의 옥션 카운트 다운이 시작됩니다. 3시간의 옥션이 경과할 때까지 응찰자가 없다면 판매가가 낮아지며 더치 옥션 방식으로 판매가 자동 전환됩니다.
• 하이브리드 옥션은 드롭스, 마켓플레이스, 월간 MYRTLE NFT 등 WEMIX PLAY에서 제공하는 모든 NFT 옥션에 적용될 예정입니다.

▶ 더치 옥션으로 전환

• NFT가 더치 옥션으로 자동 전환이 되는 시점에 판매가는 한 단계 낮아져 카운트다운이 재개되며 이후 응찰이 없으면 옥션 카운트다운 3시간이 종료될 때마다 가격이 낮아집니다.
• NFT 판매가는 최소 단위인 0.1까지 낮아집니다.
• 단계 별 낮아지는 기준은 아래와 같습니다.

▷ NFT 판매 단위가 10,000 이하일 시

• 판매가의 앞에서 두 번째 단위에서 1씩 낮아지며 그 이하는 절사됩니다.

▷ NFT 판매 단위가 10,000 이상일 시

• 판매가의 앞에서 세 번째 단위에서 5씩 낮아지며 그 이하는 절사됩니다.
• 낮아지는 단위에 숫자가 6,7,8,9,0이면 5로 낮아집니다.

• 낮아지는 단위에 숫자가 1,2,3,4,5이면 0으로 낮아집니다.

▶ 잉글리쉬 옥션으로 전환

• NFT가 최초 판매 등록이 되거나 더치 옥션으로 판매중일 때 응찰자가 나올 시 해당 NFT는 잉글리쉬 옥션으로 자동 전환됩니다.
