WeMod 5 Launch and Rebrand

To our fellow WeModders,

It has been an incredible year so far for WeMod and Infinity, and we’re just getting started. Team WeMod would like to extend our thanks for your continued support and feedback. WeMod now supports over 400 games and is continuously growing.

Earlier this year, we started talking about the future of WeMod and the hurdles we needed to cross to keep moving forward. One of the big problems we were facing was the name of the app, “Infinity.” We had new users interchangeably calling the app “WeMod,” “Infinity,” “WeMod Infinity,” or “Infnty.” Besides the confusion, it’s almost impossible for us to compete with the automaker “Infiniti” when it comes to Google search rankings. It was time for a change.

That’s why we’re proud to announce WeMod 🎉

We have been building the WeMod brand for almost three years now, so it made perfect sense to drop “Infinity” and simply call our desktop app “WeMod”. It’s simple, it’s memorable, and it’s awesome.

With the rebrand comes an entirely redesigned desktop application, mobile remote, and website. We’ve closely listened and have made many changes to reflect your feedback.

Members can now vote for games directly in the app! WeMod detects the games installed on your computer that aren’t currently supported and allows easy voting. Plus, there’s a new custom dark theme for Pro users (more themes on the way).

Along with voting comes even more additions:

• Faster app startup time
• An activity feed showing new and updated trainers
• In-app account management — profile pic, username, email, and password
• In-app subscription management — upgrading to Pro, changing payment method
• Multi-trainer support — multiple trainer creators can work on different trainers for the same game.

In the next few months we will be launching some new features including:

• Multi-language support
• Trainer Update Request System
• Enhanced Remote App
• Profile Hub
• Community Trainers
• Referral System to invite friends for extra WePoints

UPDATE: WeMod 5 is now available to Pro members. Open your old Infinity app to see the update. We will be rolling it out to all members in the coming weeks.
