National Chiao Tung University (“NCTU”) is a top research university in Taiwan as well as in East Asia. Today, the University is comprehensive university, composed of 12 colleges that offer undergraduate and postgraduate programs in Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Semiconductor Technology, Computer Science, Science, Biological Science and Technology, Photonics, AI & Green Energy, Management, Law, Humanities and Social Sciences, Hakka Studies.
The university has created several interdisciplinary curriculums that allows students to complete a minor with easily accessible resources and flexible credit requirements. It also provides a range of mini-courses to improve hands-on capabilities for cross-disciplinary studies. It also builds up several co-working maker spaces that integrate teaching and research resources of different disciplines.
