It’s not what you think…

While often accused of being entitled or not driven enough, Millennials are actually the most stressed-out generation according to the American Psychological Association’s Stress in America survey. With concerns about student debt, the unemployment rate, and the rising cost of living engulfing the average young American, where do they turn for a moment of respite and relaxation?

To find out, here at Moodica we tested 8,500 young Americans between the ages of 18 and 30 to see which oddly satisfying video caused them to pause, take a break from their worries, and relax. Here are the top 10 soothing videos, ranked by how long Millennials spent enraptured by them.

  1. Paint Splatters

2. Sushi Making

3. Schools of Fish

4. Waterfall Dripping

5. Los Angeles Valley

6. Tranquil Cabin

7. Galaxy Loop

8. Futuristic Skyscrapers

9. New Zealand Lake

10. Yoga at the Riverbank

Millennials seem to be less relaxed by conventional mediative subjects, like yoga and nature, and more entranced by viewing seemingly everyday tasks, like making sushi and painting. Perhaps what Millennials want deep down is to be able to achieve the everyday American lifestyle that seems to be out of their grasp.

Moodica is a vacation for your brain, bringing you the most soothing sights and sounds on earth. Watch more oddly satisfying videos on your desktop, Amazon Fire and Apple TV!
