We all have the power to become great. Very few of us step into those shoes, and the rest of us tend to look at success as something chosen for a few. Let me start off by saying success is not always about money. We see and hear about the money, but never about the things that these people did everyday to become great in their field. Small everyday things that become habits can help you become great. Let’s start creating a better you and put you on the path to greatness.

Day 1

This might sound extremely crazy, but grab your journal and write down 101 things you want to do. This could be anything — from going to the gun range, to buying an 8 bedroom house. Nothing is off limits here, you just need 101 of them. After you have written this list, I would like you to see everything you have written down and start working towards them. Some will take more time to obtain then others but once you start tackling each day with a focus on getting things done your world will change.

Day 2

Who are you? Is a very big question that is often answered with the things we do and not who we are. Today, I want you to write down who you are and also write down what you do. Does what you do serve who you are? What steps can you take to have these things sync up? This is your life. The more you examine it, the more you understand it.

Day 3

This is an easy one! It’s not always about heavy brain work. Grab a pencil and draw whatever is on your mind. Use the whole page of your journal. You don’t have to be the greatest artist to do this. Make sure you use the whole page. Often, when I feel stuck and my mind is a bit cloudy, I grab a blank piece of paper and draw.

Day 4

Write down the names of people who have influenced you. If they are people that you can talk to, have you told them how important they have been to you? Don’t wait till tomorrow to show the people you love how much they mean to you.

As a bonus, head to the book store and go to the biography section. Pick up an interesting one, and read it. It’s a known fact that when reading a person’s journey you will see habits they had that made them who they are.

Day 5

“It Never Happened if you never wrote it down”

This saying is incredibly important. Often times we try to store things in are minds or phones and never write them down. I want everyone reading this to pick up an agenda and start to write down your day plans by the hour. When you maximize your time, you will not only have more of it, but you will get more done.

Your mobile phone’s agenda does not count as writing it down. It’s not the phones main feature and often times gets overlooked for things like Facebook, Instagram and Candy Crush. Get an agenda you can write in.

Day 6

You are writing a book about your successful life; answer the following questions:

What will be the title of your book?

What picture will you put on the cover?

(Draw this one)

The Blurb about your book (this is always on the back of the book)

About the author? (make it good)

Reviews (Write what others would say about the book. What the people that influence you most would say about your book.

What are the gaps between what you described on the cover of your autobiography and where you are now?

Day 7

If your life was a 12 hour clock, 1 minute past 12 is your birth and midday is were you are now.

If you are 24 years old each hour on the clock represents 2 hours of life 3 o’clock your 6 and 9 o’clock your 18

If you are 36 then 1 hour represents 3 years of your life and one minute is 5 months. 3 o’clock your 9, 6 o’clock you 18 and 9 o’clock you 27

If your 48 each hour is 4 years

And if you are 60 each hour is 5 years.

Using the math given, draw a clock face and write your corresponding age.

What are the 12 most important events in your life to date? List things that have had a lasting impact on your life. How did each event make you feel?

Day 8

You have been working hard and I hope you are beginning to think a little bit deeper about yourself. Today is something very simple. Remember that movie you watched over and over as a kid? Today you owe it to yourself to watch it . Don’t put it off until tomorrow this is something you will do today. Write down you favorite character and what makes them stand.

Day 9

Your Journey Line (Passenger and/or Driver)

Get a red, blue and black pen. Think about your journey from the day you were born till today as if it was a railroad line.

Divide the line into decades or five year chunks. Draw a train and some scenery to get the mind flowing (Doodling helps).

Where on the line did you feel you were a passenger on life’s journey and where did you feel you were in control (the driver of the train).

Use the red pen to represent you as a passenger and blue to represent you as the driver of the train. (Some parts will have both colors.)

What is your dominant color? Are you someone who has been in control of what happens, or someone that has been subject to forces of fate?

Day 10

It’s a day to review and reflect on the last 9 days. Going forward, continue to work on your goals. Start small, plan out your next 10 days, and set aside the time to work on YOU. I personally get up everyday at 5am and spend that hour — from 5 to 6 — working on the goals I have. Seeing what small wins I can do everyday to reach the goal I want.

They say a habit takes 66 days of work. And on that journey, there will be days you might want to give up, but continue to push. Continue to be great. I would personally love to hear from anyone once you get to day 10. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me, or comment below.
