Praia Mole — Florianópolis, Brazil

Florianópolis, or ‘Floripa’, was the second stop of the We Roam Polaris tour. Floripa is best known for its incredible beaches, lively culture, fantastic BBQ and home to Brazil’s thriving tech and startup scene. Just a short 45-minute flight from São Paulo, Floripa’s beauty and laid back lifestyle has made it easy to attract some of Brazil’s best entrepreneurial talent.

While Buenos Aires had a lot to offer for the Roamers, Floripa provided a plethora of outdoor activities which was a nice change of pace coming from a bustling city. Surfing, yoga, paddle boarding, sand boarding, Samba dancing, paragliding, hiking, and SCUBA diving were some of the most popular activities, while continuing to stay fueled by thoroughly enjoying daily açai bowls… ahhh the açai. The Roamers were spread across 3 different accommodations, all of which were concentrated around Praia Mole and Praia Joaquina near the town of Lagoa da Conceição.

I’ll let the photos do the rest of the talking and will report back after we wrap up our current month in Bogotá, Colombia! —

La Próxima Parada — Bogotá, Colombia!

March 2017 kicks off the 3rd month of our Polaris tour and we expect incredible coffee, cooler mountain weather, a slight kick-in-the-lungs with an elevation of nearly 9,000ft, world-renowned restaurants and plenty of nearby exotic Colombian cities to explore. Colombia will also be our last stop in South America.

See you soon!
