How to register in WeSend

WeSend was released last week and many users have asked us how to register and how to get the SDT tokens they earned in the pre-launch campaigns. We have prepared a mini guide for our users.

A user can get SDT tokens if s/he participated in one of the pre-launch campaigns, either through a web registry or through WhatsApp. Each campaign has distinct Terms & Conditions, which can be found here: Landing Campaign & WhatsApp Campaign.

Account Creation & Verification Level 1

WeSend registry starts by creating an account in www.wesend.co/signup

IMPORTANT: WeSend does not hold on to your password for security reasons. Therefore, you should always remember it or write it down and keep it in a safe place.

Once you have created the account, we will send you a message to confirm your email. You should open it and click on “Confirm Email”.

By clicking on the link, you will be redirected to your account in WeSend. By now you have reached verification level 1.

Another important thing is to create a Backup of your wallet. This will help keep your assets secure and allow you to access your account in multiple ways.

Verification Level 2

Now, in order to continue the verification process, you should go to “My Profile”, and select “Edit profile”.

Your screen will display the following, including the verification progress bar:

Second Verification Level corresponds to verifying your phone. We will send you an SMS to your cellphone, which you should type in the spaces provided.

In order to receive your SDT tokens, you should reach at least verification level 2. However, some users may ask you for additional information in order to open trades.

Verification Level 3 & 4

The third verification level corresponds to verifying your ID. You should upload a picture of your passport or any valid government-issued ID. The document must be legible, it should be valid (not expired) and it should have a picture of you.

The fourth verification level corresponds to your address. For this, you should upload a picture of a public service bill, or any receipt that shows your name and address. It could be a bank statement too. The address in the uploaded document should match the city you selected on your WeSend profile.
