Mahogany L. Browne Interviewed on PBS’ “Tell Me More With Kelly Corrigan”

Mahogany L. Browne is an esteemed author, organizer, curator, and educator. For the 2022–23 academic year, Browne is with us at Wesleyan as part of the Shapiro Center for Writing’s new Distinguished Writers in Residence Program. On October 11, Browne sat down with PBS’ Kelly Corrigan to speak “about the power of poetry and the importance of listening to younger generations.” Additionally, Browne, “speaks to the various ways in which her work aims to address both personal and broader societal issues of race, sexism, and systemic oppression.” Make sure to check out the full-length interview at the link below.
