Why I created the Slack channel

I decided to create a Slack channel due to the amount of comments and messages I have been receiving on a daily basis in regards to where I obtain my sources for my daily dose of crypto reading. This is where I will be able to share them with you effectively. In the Slack Channel, we can engage in a healthy discussion and give feedback to each other in a timely manner. Everyone can participate in this!

What is Slack?

“Slack is where work happens. It’s a digital workspace that powers your organization — all the pieces and the people — so you can get things done.”

The Slack will be dedicated as “an open research community for blockchain technology and cryptocurrency” channel. It will be open to anyone who wants to share their findings and to anyone who wants to learn more about this space. A healthy discussion about this space is encouraged as well!

Why Slack?

Basically it’s a chat room 3.0. I believe its a better alternative and more efficient than starting a Facebook group. We chose Slack because of their superior features, such as:

What to expect from you?

  • Nothing. You can lurk around and be a spectator.

  • Be an active member by sharing any finding(s) you may have (articles, blogs, memes, videos, or other forms of digital media).
  • Start a healthy discussion about blockchain projects and cryptocurrencies.
  • Have a project related to this space? Promote your project in our dedicated channel.
  • Hangout and chat with fellow hodlers/traders about non-crypto related topics in a dedicated channel.

Got questions? Ask away.. BUT WAIT!

  • Have you done your research?
  • Have you at least covered the basics in your research?
  • Did Google not answer your question? Are you sure?

What is the end-game?

  • Learn from each other.
  • Prosper together.
  • Build a badass crypto community!
