Data2Sustain is an EDIH in the European Digital Innovation Hubs Network funded by the Next Generation EU Recovery and Resilience Facility and administered by Enterprise Ireland.

Data2Sustain’s consortium partners include some of the region’s leading institutions and organizations:

Atlantic Technological University
Atlantic Technological University (ATU) is a multi-campus Technological University in the West and Northwest of Ireland, delivering a rich combination of academic and research excellence, spanning Engineering and Design, Science, Business, Tourism and Social Science. Research and innovation are carried out in collaboration with companies, communities, public bodies, and other stakeholders in the region as well as nationally and internationally.

ATU hosts three national Technology Gateways dedicated to industry collaborative projects in Networks, Software and Analytics, Medical and Sports/Nutrition Technology and Precision Engineering and Processes. ATU is home to four Enterprise Innovation Centres in Donegal, Galway, Mayo and Sligo, hosting and supporting over one hundred start-up and scaling companies in collaboration with Enterprise Ireland and other agencies.

ERNACT
Committed to advancing the digital transformation of regions and cities across Europe, ERNACT brings its extensive expertise to digital technology projects, with a particular focus on the application of AI and VR/AR technologies in public services. It plays a vital role in supporting digital innovation across various sectors and facilitating collaboration with other EDIHs and organisations across Europe.

WestBIC
Operating within the Border, Midland & Western Region of Ireland, WestBIC provides essential business development support to innovative enterprises. Its services include facilitating access to funding, business model development and support, offering guidance in digital transition and promoting sustainability initiatives. WestBIC boasts a broad network of expertise spanning across Europe.

Údarás na Gaeltachta
With a rich history in rural and community development, Údarás na Gaeltachta actively participates in various European projects that emphasize digitalization, sustainability and tourism. Its efforts contribute significantly to the economic and sociolinguistic development of the Gaeltacht regions.

Mayo County Council
An influential player in regional development, Mayo County Council plays a pivotal role in facilitating economic and social growth. It achieves this through its local enterprise offices and active involvement in EU projects. The council’s focus areas include driving digital transformation, climate action and regional development strategies.

Western Development Commission
The Western Development Commission (WDC) is a statutory body established in 1997 to promote economic and social development in Ireland’s Western Region. It advises the government, manages the WDC Investment Fund, and follows a strategic plan focused on regional promotion, leadership, and sustainable enterprise. The WDC aims to create a globally competitive region, address regional disparities, and protect the environment while enhancing the quality of life for residents.

· Northern and Western Regional Assembly

The Northern and Western Regional Assembly (NWRA) aims to play a transformative role in the success of our region, with a vision to craft a more creative, connected, vibrant and sustainable region. The NWRA is intent on adopting international best practice in planning and development in order to create better places, with the commitment to enhance competitiveness through policies that build resilience through digital transformation. Achieving this will be done through a dedicated and principled approach to collaboration including in the management of EU and national exchequer funds for the betterment of the region.
