Enterprising23 event targeting Start-ups and SME’s in the West and Northwest to take place in Sligo

WestBIC and Enterprise Ireland are collaboratively hosting a new, innovative event for ambitious entrepreneurs and startups in the West, Midlands and Border reigon.

Minister of State for Trade Promotion, Digital and Company Regulation Dara Calleary T.D will open the inaugural Enterprising23 business event, hosted by WestBIC and Enterprise Ireland on Wednesday, 4th October at the Sligo Park Hotel.

The events aims to provide businesses and entrepreneurs with key information on supports available to help businesses grow and succeed.

Attendees will have opportunity to hear from successful entrepreneurs and industry experts on a series of topics including navigating entrepreneurial supports, strategic networking & communicating for start-ups and how to attract and prepare for investment.

The Enterprising23 event features speakers from SME’s, large companies and innovative start-ups including David McIntyre, Cubbie; Ruairi Dooley, BiaSol; Margaret Rae, Konree Innovation; Fergal O’Connor, BuyMedia; Michael Furey, Ronspot; James Doherty, Sliabh Liag Distillers; Catherine Devine, Pumpskynz; Aveline O’ Sullivan, Bloom in a Box; Kieran Supple, Reap Interactive and Kasia Gaborec-McEvoy, My Name is Ted along with members of Enterprise Ireland’s start-up and investment teams, moderated by broadcaster Lisa Regan.

Minister Calleary said, “The inaugural Enterprising23 conference is set to be a must attend event for any ambitious business or company founder looking to take their business to the next stage of growth. The event will serve as platform for robust discussion, information sharing, and practical advice around the key issues facing Irish companies in the region.

This event aims to capitalise on this, highlighting not only the competitiveness of the region but the opportunities for businesses to expand and innovate. Tickets for the event are €25 and will run from 11.00am to 3.30pm with lunch and refreshments included.
