We are not machines. We cannot sustainably operate at maximum output for 18 hours a day, 7 days a week. Our brains and bodies need rest, relaxation, and time to recharge. Relationships and experiences outside of work are not just nice-to-haves, they’re essential components of a meaningful life.
Because one way or another, we’re all going to wind up as worm-food, and you might as well have lived a good life in the process.
