Good evening, everyone! Tonight expect clouds to increase however it should remain mostly dry. Lows will range from 24 to 33 degrees, with some warming possible especially near the coast early Tuesday morning.

Snow will overspread the area Tuesday morning. Expect precipitation to start as snow for everyone away from southwestern portions, which could see a bit of freezing rain at onset. After that, coastal/far southwestern zones should transition to a cold rain or a mix of cold rain and snow. This will limit accumulations for these areas. For the interior, snow will come down hard for a time Tuesday, especially west, but the strong April sun should prohibit maximum accumulations, and temperatures will be in the lower 30s. This will lead to a general 3–5 inches with some seeing 5–8 inches in favored locations. High temperatures Tuesday will range from 34 to 43 degrees.

Snow will continue over interior areas Tuesday night while a rain/rain-snow mix continues over coastal/southern zones. Some sleet may mix in as well. By morning, much of the steadiest precipitation should pull off to the east. Lows will range from 29 to 37 degrees.

Overall as mentioned, coastal areas will see the least out of this system, with many over the interior seeing 3 or 4 inches. Expect highest amounts upwards of 8 inches over interior western sections or the higher terrain.

Wednesday does look colder now with some clouds and showers/a light rain and snow mix sticking around for much of the day. Slick conditions are not expected. High temperatures will range from 33 to 45 degrees.

Have a great evening!
