Good evening, everyone! Tonight expect mostly clear and dry conditions, with lows ranging from 47 to 56 degrees.

Tuesday will be mostly sunny, with highs mainly in the 70s. Southwestern portions will experience clouds from a storm passing to our south. If the storm becomes tropical, it’ll be named Irma.

Wednesday looks to feature more of the same, with some clouds from the ocean storm possibly spilling into our area. Highs will again be mainly in the 70s.

Thursday a cold front appears to cross the area, allowing for showers and thunderstorms. Northern areas should see these pass through early in the morning, with showers continuing all day. Southern areas will see this front during the afternoon, and if the timing is right some thunderstorms may be possible. Highs will be in the 60s north, upper 70s south.

After the cold front passes northern areas may see frost early in the morning on Friday and again Saturday. Early Saturday morning looks like the most likely time at this point. I’ll update the forecast tomorrow or Wednesday as the threat gets closer. If you live near the Canadian border, you may want to prepare to protect your sensitive vegetation.

Labor day weekend looks mixed at this point, with the remnants of Harvey potentially allowing for some rain across the region. At least a couple of the days look good though. More updates as we get closer to that as well.
