More Snow Wednesday Morning, Becoming Much Colder This Weekend
Good evening, everyone! Tonight will feature increasing clouds, with low temperatures ranging from 19 to 28 degrees. Snow showers will begin to filter into the area after 1 AM, but steady snow looks to hold off until around 5 AM. Any standing water on roads after melting today will refreeze through tomorrow morning.
Wednesday morning a period of light snow is expected, beginning by dawn for most and continuing through around 11 before precipitation becomes more showery. A dusting to an inch appears to be about it for most areas, with western sections seeing an inch or two at best. Some rain may begin to mix in across the immediate southwest coast. Expect snow to begin to dissipate across the area around 11, with most of the snow gone by 1 PM. Slick travel can be expected Wednesday morning, especially the further west across the area you are. It appears to remain mostly cloudy across the area through afternoon, but snow showers will retreat to the mountains. Expect high temperatures ranging from 28 to 37 degrees.
Wednesday night expect clouds to break up a little but probably hang around, with low temperatures ranging from 18 to 27 degrees.
Thursday will feature mostly cloudy skies, with a snow shower possible. Snow showers are most likely across the mountains. High temperatures will range from 31 to 40 degrees. Sun is likely to make an appearance later on in the day.
Thursday night, expect clouds to increase yet again, though it should remain partly clear. Low temperatures will range from 17 to 26 degrees. An isolated snow shower is possible, most likely in the mountains.
Friday will feature blustery winds, after a cold front passes through early in the morning. It will be chilly, with wind chills remaining mostly in the teens and low 20s for many. Expect wind gusts up to 35 miles per hour, with high temperatures ranging from 18 to 32 degrees.
Expect the cold to continue through the weekend, with high temperatures only making it into the teens/20s, even across southern areas Saturday and Sunday. Some mixed precipitation/snow is possible Sunday night into Monday.
Have a great evening, and take it slow on the roads tomorrow morning, especially across western areas!
