Good evening, everyone! Tonight expect clear skies with lows ranging from 17 to 26 degrees.

Monday expect mostly sunny skies with high temperatures ranging from 39 to 56 degrees. Warmest over interior southern sections, coldest over northeastern sections.

Monday night will start clear with high clouds gradually overspreading the area towards dawn on Tuesday morning. It will be mostly dry, with lows ranging from 18 to 27 degrees.

Tuesday morning snow will overspread the area. A dusting to an inch of accumulation is expected for southern areas before snow either stops accumulating or changes/mixes with rain during the afternoon. Interior areas will see snow stick through the afternoon, and slick travel should be expected. High temperatures Tuesday will range from 29 to 38 degrees.

Tuesday night any remaining snow along the coast will go over to rain as snow continues to accumulate over the interior. Since precipitation will be mostly light many areas are looking at 3–5 inches of snow, with 5–8 inches possible over interior western portions. Winds will turn northeast along the coast, so it must be watched for a very brief period of freezing rain early Wednesday. This seems unlikely though. Slick travel will continue inland Tuesday night. Lows will range from 29 to 38 degrees.

Updated 4 PM Sun 4/2/17

By Wednesday morning steadiest precipitation should pull off to the east, leaving just mixed showers behind. Some interior sections could see slick conditions continue through mid morning before the strong April sun melts off much of the snow from the previous 24 hours. Expect the sun to pop out in the afternoon, with warm temperatures. Highs will range from 39 to 54 degrees, coldest northeast, warmest southwest.

Have a great evening!
