Thunderstorms Friday, Nice Saturday and Sunday

Good evening, everyone! Tonight expect increasing clouds. A round of showers and thunderstorms will push through during the early morning hours as a warm front passes. Expect the majority of this activity over northern zones. Limited instability means that this activity will mainly be in the form of showers. Lows will range from 55 to 64 degrees.

Friday expect morning showers and storms to push northeast with some sunny breaks possible for western areas by afternoon. This will allow the formation of more showers and thunderstorms. A few thunderstorms may be severe, with damaging winds and large hail. Anywhere could see a strong storm, but the most likely spot will be along the Canadian border, since they have the highest chance of seeing a storm in the first place. Any thunderstorm may also produce downpours, with isolated incidents of flash flooding possible. High temperatures will range from 71 to 85 degrees, coolest northeast and warmest southwest.

Friday night showers and storms will fizzle, with just the chance for an isolated shower left. It will remain mostly cloudy, with low temperatures ranging from 62 to 71 degrees.

Saturday expect isolated showers to push through in the morning, with mainly dry conditions moving in for the afternoon. Skies will start off mostly cloudy but will clear by afternoon. High temperatures will range from 77 to 86 degrees.

Have a great evening and watch out for thunderstorms tomorrow!
