A distinctly transatlantic feel to our event guide this month, but there’s so much to look forward to both at home here and all around the globe!

Check out the three North American spectacles we have chosen to spotlight this month!

Super Bowl LIII

February 3rd

You could have almost pencilled in one half of this contest 6 months ago — Brady & Belichick’s New England Patriots take on the relocated Los Angeles Rams. Atlanta’s Mercedes-Benz Stadium, capacity 75,000, plays host.

As always the football is only one part of the show — we have Gladys Knight singing the national anthem, and Maroon 5 performing at half-time.

Will you be staying up to watch it?

World Squash Championships, Chicago

February 23rd-March 2nd

The draw has been announced and so anticipation and preparation can hit another level.

The wonderful city of Chicago hosts this edition, with the men and women’s tournaments being played simultaneously. The first host, back in 1976? The old Wembley Stadium!

Skeleton & Bob World Championships, Whistler

February 25th-March 10th

Our third North American host, and probably our snowiest!

We love these disciplines so much in the Winter Olympics that we really ought to pay more attention to them year on year!

Great Britain won gold in the Women’s Skeleton through Shelley Rudman in 2013 and Lizzy Yarnold in 2015 — will Britain find a new hero this time around?
