It might be cold here but it’s not cold everywhere…and guess what, even when it is, the great events keep coming. There’s cricket in the Caribbean and in Sri Lanka, there’s motor racing in Brazil and in the United Arab Emirates, and there’s tennis and snooker closer to home — indoors, fortunately!

Check out the three events that we have chosen to spotlight this month!

Women’s World T20 Cricket, West Indies

November 9th-24th

Women’s cricket continues to soar and as the world’s best meet to battle it out for the champion prize in the game’s shortest format, this tournament is not one to miss!

West Indies are the hosts and defending champions; England are the 2017 World Cup winners; Australia have won three of the tournament’s six editions. It is set to be a cracker.

Be sure to check out our featured article for the tournament coming out next week.

ATP Tennis Finals, London

November 12th-18th

The men’s season-ender returns to London for the tenth consecutive year.

The highest ranked men’s tennis players for 2018 are invited to participate; no-one will be surprised to see the names of Nadal, Djokovic and Federer currently sat at the top of the rankings list! At time of writing, Alexander Zverev and Kevin Anderson have both also qualified for the event.

With up to $2,549,000 potentially lining the champion’s pocket, this is no damp squib to end the season…

Elina Svitolina won the women’s equivalent in Singapore last month.

Formula One season-ender at Abu Dhabi

November 25th

Lewis Hamilton might have already wrapped up his fifth World Championship, but each Grand Prix is a magnificent event, and Abu Dhabi epitomises that.

This, too, is the tenth edition. Each race has been day-night, enhancing the visual spectacle.

Mercedes have dominated recent editions of the race, and with Hamilton and his teammate Valtteri Bottas keen to secure the Constructors’ Championship for their team, it would be no surprise to see a repeat; Hamilton took 2016 and Bottas 2017.

Meanwhile, both Ferrari and Red Bull will be looking to end disappointing seasons on a positive note.
